Design review of strategic food security facility qatar
A major contractor was in the process of preparing a bid for a Strategic Food Security Facility (SFSF) in Qatar for the construction of a storage facility for rice, sugar and edible oil. The SFSF consists of 2 berths, material handling systems and a storage capacity of 2 years for 3 million people for each commodity. MHC was involved by Port Consultants Rotterdam (PCR) for the review of the tender design which was prepared by the contractor.
